The method comprises acquiring information on a position where at least one of a first device and a second device contacts a body of a user, and upon the occurrence of a triggering event that causes haptic feedback in at least one of the first device and the second device, controlling properties of haptic feedback provided in at least one of the first device and the second device, with reference to the acquired information on the body contact position, information on a display state associated with the triggering event, and information on contents or functions associated with the triggering event.
