The touch panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate which is cell-assembled with the first substrate. A surface of the first substrate facing the second substrate is provided with a first touch electrode having a planar shape and a surface of the second substrate facing the second substrate is provided with a plurality of second touch electrodes and each of the second touch electrodes includes a strip electrode base and a plurality of electrode projections provided on the strip electrode base. Upon no touch operation being generated on the touch panel, all the electrode projections are insulated from the first touch electrode; upon a touch operation being generated on the touch panel, the electrode projections on the touch point is contacted with the first touch electrode.
