A three-dimensional image display device includes: a display panel; a movement determining unit determining whether an object of a 3D image moved in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the display panel based on image information; a hole-filling unit filling a hole generated according to the movement of the object with an edge region of the object to compensate a movement degradation when it is determined that the object moved in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the display panel; and a 3D input image signal generator generating a 3D input image signal based on the image information compensated with the movement degradation.
