The first node determines to transmit a first packet to a second node in a first data slot of a first frame. The first data slot being associated with a first reservation resource and a second reservation resource. The first node determines whether the first node has a privilege for the first data slot of the first frame, when the first packet is of priority based traffic. The first node transmits a reservation message to the second node in the first reservation resource when the first node is determined to have the privilege for the first data slot.
