The engagement detection member is assembled with the female housing in a movable manner from an initial position to an engagement assurance position in a state where the counterpart connector and the female housing are completely engaged with each other. The cover member is assembled with the engagement detection member through a locking unit locked with the engagement detection member. The locking unit is provided inside an outer shape line of the engagement detection member when viewed in a direction of relative movement between the female housing and the engagement detection member.
