The first circuit has a function of performing display; the second circuit has a function of driving the first circuit; the second circuit includes a transistor and a capacitor; the transistor includes an oxide semiconductor layer over a first insulating layer; the capacitor includes a first conductive layer, a second insulating layer, and a second conductive layer; the first conductive layer is positioned over the first insulating layer; one of a source and a drain of the transistor is electrically connected to the second conductive layer; and the first conductive layer and the oxide semiconductor layer include the same metal element.
