The wireless power receiver includes a power reception unit configured to wirelessly receive the charging power from the wireless power transmitter; a rectifier configured to rectify the charging power from the power reception unit; a load unit configured to store the rectified charging power from the rectifier; and a controller configured to detect a change of a charging mode for the load unit, and control to adjust an impedance in the power reception unit according to the change of the charging mode.
