A one-piece housing may integrally include the filter compartment and the cooler compartment. The charge-air cooler may have a coolant inlet, a coolant outlet and an internal coolant path which connects the coolant inlet to the coolant outlet. The internal coolant path may be coupled in a heat-transferring manner to a charge-air path extending inside the housing and through the cooler compartment.
