A wireless device configured to receive the SIM, where the SIM is configured to be utilized in the wireless device, the wireless device including: a memory that stores an operating system of the wireless device and a wireless service activation application, a processor that processes a function of the wireless device, a display that displays information to a user, the wireless service activation application is configured to capture the activation code that authorizes the wireless device on a wireless network and authorizes a predetermined amount of wireless service for the wireless device associated with said SIM.
