The compressor (1) and the external heat exchanger are contained within an air conditioner container (16; 38) forming part of a multi-service pedestal (17; 36), equipped with a support structure (20; 37) situated on a pier (P) or quay, and the room heat exchanger (13) is placed in a boat (B) moored to pier (P) or quay.
