The controller defines a condition for restricting server connections from one or more client terminals, according to a status of job execution, and instructs a load balancing apparatus to perform load control to restrict the server connections based on the condition. The management apparatus includes a controller that sends a request from a client terminal to a server function, to one of image forming apparatuses. The controller obtains, from each image forming apparatus, information relating to a status of job execution, and performs load control to restrict server connections to each image forming apparatus, according to the status of job execution.
