The parking guidance apparatus is configured to recognize parking spaces in which a vehicle is to be parked within a parking lot, to set any one of the recognized parking spaces to a target parking space, to calculate a one-step parking route and a multi-step parking route depending on a steering input of a driver, to display guidance markers corresponding to the one-step parking route and the multi-step parking route so as to be distinguished from each other, and to guidance parking on the basis of the guidance markers.
