Abstract:
A method for crosslinking a copolymer of ethylene and at least one other monomer using an organic peroxide represented by Formula (1): wherein R1 is either a methyl or an ethyl group and wherein (i) R1 is a methyl group, R2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms optionally substituted with groups containing O, Si, P, S, SO— or SO2 functionalities; (ii) if R1 is an ethyl group, R2 is an alkyl group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms optionally substituted with groups containing O, Si, P, S, SO— or SO2 functionalities.
