The wireless device (105) is in active mode. The node (105, 110) obtains information indicating that the wireless device (105) should reduce its radio power consumption. The node (105, 110) determines that the wireless device (105) should change from active mode to a first power saving mode based on the obtained information and based on a first criterion. And, the node (105, 110) or the wireless device (105) determines that the wireless device (105) should change from active mode to a second power saving mode based on the obtained information and based on a second criterion.
