A scheduling request relating to conditional data transfer of delay tolerant data is received. The delay tolerant data is scheduled for transmission such that the delay tolerant data is to be transmitted in conjunction with data already scheduled for transmission and utilizing available transmission resources non-utilized for transmission of the data already scheduled for transmission.
