In addition, a method for the production of a display module is provided, wherein the display circuit board is inserted in a module housing together with the display in such a way that the flexible section is at least partially arranged between a side wall of the display and a side wall of the module housing. Finally, an electrical hand-held device, such as a cell phone or the like, is provided with a display module.
