    Abstract: The invention relates to medical means for determining the health condition in man. The method provides for selecting a symmetrical skin zone; determining on it topographic boundaries of skin sectors to be analyzed inside which the skin zone boundaries analogous to metamere tones of the human organism are determined; measuring the skin's electrical resistance in one of two neighbouring skin areas within the limits of the skin region and taking said resistance as a basis for determination of an anomaly of the pair of skin zones to be tested. The device comprises a common electrode (1), a measuring electrode (3), an electronic computing unit (8), an electric current source (4), a unit (11) for inserting the measuring electrode (3) into the skin zone to be tested, a drive for contacting the measuring electrode (3) with the skin zone to be tested and a unit (10) for processing the signal proportional to the skin's electrical resistance.
