The first plurality of blades include a plurality of backward curved blades. The dual stage blower assembly also includes a second fan circumscribing the first fan and configured to rotate about the rotational axis. The second fan includes a second plurality of blades, wherein the second plurality of blades include one of a plurality of forward curved blades, a plurality of a radial blades, or a plurality of backward curved blades. At least one motor is coupled to the first fan and the second fan and configured to rotate the first fan and the second fan about the rotational axis.
Abstract:
A modular transfer system with a primary flow system and a diverter system that is repositionable along a track system. The primary flow system includes a primary flow belt for conveying an article along a primary flow path from an infeed side of the modular transfer system to a pass-through side of the modular transfer system. The diverter system that is repositionable along the track system between the infeed side and the pass-through side by attachment within one or more channels.

An electric motor assembly includes a bearing assembly including a rotating component and at least one stationary component. The electric motor assembly also includes an impeller coupled to the rotating component. The impeller includes an inlet and an outlet and is configured to direct a fluid between the inlet and the outlet. The electric motor assembly also includes a rotor assembly directly coupled to the impeller. A fluid flow channel is defined between the rotating component and the at least one stationary component. The flow channel includes a first end proximate the impeller outlet and a second end proximate the impeller inlet.
Abstract:
A forward curved blower wheel has fan blades having relatively small leading edge blades angles and a relatively lengthy mean camber lines. The blower wheel also comprises leading edge notches adjacent its blower wheel inlet. The leading edge notches eliminate buffeting that would occur with such blades if such notches were not present.
Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the invention, a system for managing commands for a pump electric motor for powering a pump for use in a pool and/or a spa is provided. The system includes a user interface for receiving user commands from a user and a pump motor controller for controlling the pump electric motor. The user interface and/or the pump motor controller is adapted to receive first protocol commands utilizing a first protocol from a first input source and adapted to send first input source signals corresponding to the first protocol commands to a portion of the pump motor controller. The user interface and/or the pump motor controller is further adapted to receive second protocol commands utilizing a second protocol from a second input source and adapted to send second input source signals corresponding to the second protocol commands to a portion of the pump motor controller.
Abstract:
An energy recovery apparatus for use in a refrigeration system, comprises an intake port, a nozzle, a turbine and a discharge port. The intake port is adapted to be in fluid communication with a refrigerant cooler of a refrigeration system. The nozzle comprises a fluid passageway. The nozzle is configured to increase velocity of the refrigerant as it passes through the fluid passageway. The turbine is positioned relative to the nozzle and configured to be driven by refrigerant discharged from the fluid passageway. The discharge port is downstream of the turbine and is configured to be in fluid communication with an evaporator of the refrigeration system.
Abstract:
An electric machine includes a stator assembly defining a longitudinal axis. The stator assembly includes a substantially cylindrical stator core that is concentric with and extends longitudinally along the longitudinal axis. The stator core includes a stator pole having an inner surface spaced radially outward from the longitudinal axis. The stator pole includes a first aperture extending radially outward from the inner surface of the stator pole. The electric machine also includes a rotor assembly rotatable about the longitudinal axis. The rotor assembly includes a rotatable shaft and a rotor core. The rotor core is concentric with and extends longitudinally along the longitudinal axis. The rotor core also includes a rotor pole including an outer surface spaced radially outward from the longitudinal axis. The outer surface is spaced radially inward from the stator pole inner surface.
