Abstract: PURPOSE: An oral composition containing polygamma glutamic acid is provided to suppress hyaluronidas activation during gingival inflammation. CONSTITUTION: An oral composition contains polygamma glutamic acid(gamma PGA) as an active ingredient. The molecular weight of gamma PGA is 1-10,000kDa. The gamma PGA contains gamma PGA with1-3 kDa of low molecular weight and 100-10,000 kDa of high molecular weight. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating gingival diseases contains the gamma PGA-containing composition.
