Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical mouse module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of an optical mouse module since the optical sensor package and the FPCB are constituted separately and are welded. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensor package(40) comprises a rigid PCB(Printed Circuit Board) with a first circuit pattern. The sensor unit is installed on the first circuit pattern. The light shield unit is installed in the sensor unit. An FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board)(50) comprises second circuit patterns(51) on which optical sensor package will be installed. A lens prism is placed on the outside of the optical sensor package and concentrates the light. The stator unit is placed on the outside of the lens prism and forms the route of the light.
