    Abstract: PURPOSE: A two-dimensional optical fiber scanner using a single solenoid based magnetic actuator is provided to transfer magnetic force to a magnetic material formed at the optical fiber probe by a single solenoid and to reduce manufacturing time and costs. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber probe capable of two-dimensional scanning includes a solenoid(200) and an optical fiber scanner(100). The solenoid supplies magnetic force. The optical fiber scanner includes a magnetic material(110). The magnetic material has magnetic force in a region where is deviated from the central axis of the solenoid. The optical fiber scanner is orthogonal to the central axis of the solenoid.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An endoscopic spectral domain optical coherence tomography system using optical fiber bundle is provided to maximize the flexibility of probes by minimizing the end parts of the probes inserted into a human body. CONSTITUTION: A light source unit(1) has a certain bandwidth with respect to a peak wavelength. A detecting end(10) comprises a collimator, a condensing lens, and a line CCD camera. A sample end can change the location of a sample to be measured. A reference end comprises a mirror(4) and a beam collimator(3). A 50:50 beam splitter(2) is connected to the light source unit, the detecting end, the sample end, and the reference end.
