Abstract: PURPOSE: The separated two cooling systems of an electric motor for a submarine are provided to improve the cooling efficiency of the electric motor by appropriately adopting a cooling system according to the heated state of the stator of the electric motor. CONSTITUTION: A first cooling path is formed on the outer circumference of a stator(140). A cooling fluid flows through the first cooling path in order to cool the stator. A second cooling path is formed in parallel with the one side of the first cooling path. A first cooling circuit(150) supplies the cooling fluid to the first cooling path. A second cooling circuit(160) supplies the cooling fluid to the second cooling path. The second cooling circuit is separately operated from the first cooling circuit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A stator cooling apparatus of a large capacity electric motor is provided to prevent the size increase of an iron core by configuring a cooling module separately from the iron core of a stator. CONSTITUTION: A cooling chamber(20) is formed with a ring shape. A cooling chamber has a pipe insertion hole. A cooling circuit(10) is formed to be divided multiply. The cooling circuit includes multiple cooling water pipes(11), a pair of distribution rings(12), a cooling water inlet pipe(13), and a cooling water discharge pipe(14). The distribution ring is segmented into multiple zones by partition walls.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus of an independent multi-phase inverter is provided to improve the cooling efficiency by forming a heat radiation member with a casting structure. CONSTITUTION: A pair of heat radiation members (10,10') adhere to plural insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) modules (20). Cooling water pipes (11,12) are protruded from the side upper part and the side lower part of the heat radiation members, respectively. A connection pipe connects the cooling water pipes to each other. The cooling water pipes have a dualized cooling circuit. The cooling water pipes are arranged in the lower part of the IGBT module.
