Abstract: 본발명은감시정찰용센서네트워크환경에서센서필드의센서들에의해탐지된표적을추적하고관리하기위하여사전에표적의개수를추정하는방법및 장치에관한것으로서, 다수의센서노드와클러스터헤드를포함하는센서필드로구성된센서네트워크시스템에있어서, (a) 상기클러스터헤드로부터표적의위치및 식별정보를수신하는단계; (b) 상기표적의식별정보를참조하여표적의식별값별로분류하는단계; (c) 상기표적의개수추정을위한초기군집값을설정하고군집의중심점및 군집의중심점간 유클리디언거리(Euclidean distance)를계산하는단계; (d) 상기군집의중심점간 유클리디언거리중 가장작은거리를갖는두 개군집을선택하고, 선택된두 개군집의유클리디언거리와기 설정된임계값을비교하는단계; (e) 상기두 개군집의유클리디언거리가상기임계값보다작은경우상기선택된두 개군집을병합하는단계; 및 (f) 군집의중심점간 유클리디언거리중 가장작은거리를갖는또 다른두 개군집을선택하고, 선택된두 개군집의유클리디언거리와기 설정된임계값을비교하는과정을반복하는단계를포함한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for estimation the number of targets in a sensor network environment for surveillance and reconnaissance is provided to trace track through a detected target information. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus receives a location identification information of a target from a cluster head(S201). The apparatus classifies the identification information of the target(S203). The apparatus establishes an initial group value for the number estimation of the target(S205). The apparatus calculates the center point, and an inter-center point Euclidean distance(S207). If the Euclidean distance of two groups is smaller than the threshold value, the apparatus annexes two group values(S209,S211).

Abstract translation: 目的：提供一种用于估计传感器网络环境中用于监视和侦察的目标数量的装置，用于通过检测到的目标信息跟踪轨迹。 构成：装置从簇头接收目标的位置识别信息（S201）。 该装置对目标的识别信息进行分类（S203）。 装置建立目标的数量估计的初始组值（S205）。 该装置计算中心点和中心点之间的欧几里德距离（S207）。 如果两组的欧氏距离小于阈值，则该装置附加两组（S209，S211）。
