Abstract: PURPOSE: A frequency hopping communication apparatus and method thereof using chirp signals are provided to improve the nti-jamming performance of a frequency hopping communication which is weak to multi tone jammer. CONSTITUTION: A frequency hopping chirp signal transmitting unit(100) generates data symbol as the number of diversity. The frequency hopping chirp signal transmitting unit transmits the frequency of a chirp signal according to the data symbol. A frequency hopping chirp signal receiving unit(200) receives the chirp signal of the frequency. The frequency hopping chirp signal receiving unit hops the frequency of the received chirp signal. The frequency hopping chirp signal receiving unit modulates the chirp signal. The frequency hopping chirp signal receiving unit combines the modulated signal as the number of diversities.
