Abstract: PURPOSE: An image binary system by peak point search of a histogram is provided to realize the image binary of detailed boundary of images required for visual test, thereby carrying out precise visual test of images in a short time. CONSTITUTION: An image binary system by peak point search of a histogram includes a histogram generating element(20) for generating a histogram of luminance values of a first dimensional function by obtaining gray images, a peak point searching element(30) for searching a peak point in the luminance value histogram for searching two peak point positions, and an image binary element(50) for determining binary boundary values by the two peak point positions and carrying out the image binary by the boundary values.
