Abstract: PURPOSE: A light tunnel and a projection apparatus with the same are provided to reinforce the coupling structure of parts of a light tunnel by employing two side mirrors with inclined reflection surfaces between top and bottom mirrors. CONSTITUTION: A light tunnel(100) comprises top and bottom mirrors(110,120), two side mirrors(130,140) and a total reflective surface. The top and bottom mirrors are installed to face each other. The two side mirrors are connected to the top and the bottom mirror. The total reflective surface is formed of the reflecting surface of each mirror. The two side mirrors are arranged with the inner side inclined and the outer side perpendicular to the top and the bottom mirror.

Abstract: A digital micro-mirror device assembly for an optical projection system is provided to prevent a digital micro-mirror device substrate from being deviated by using a spare cap when a digital micro-mirror device assembly is repaired. A digital micro-mirror device assembly for an optical projection system includes a first shield substrate(20). A digital micro-mirror device substrate is coupled to a first shield substrate with a plurality of screws. A second shield substrate(30) is coupled to the first shield substrate. The second shield substrate has penetrating holes(33) coupled with a plurality of screw(40). A cap is inserted at the penetrating hole to conceal the screw. A cylindrical guide ring(110) is installed at the penetrating hole to prevent the screw from being deviated between the digital micro-mirror device substrate and the second shield substrate while coupling the screw through the penetrating hole. The cap includes an inserting part inserted in the penetrating hole and a plug having a diameter larger than that of the inserting part.
