Abstract:
PURPOSE: An opportunistic power control method based on a cluster in a wireless communication system is provided to set up a femto cell interference tolerance based on large-scaled channel information and to restrict an integrated interference of a femto cell uplink signal. CONSTITUTION: A macro BS(Base Station)(810) broadcasts interference tolerance of a femto cell unit(a). A femto BS(820) allocates power to a terminal in consideration of path loss. The femto BS measures channel activity according to a femto cell group of a cluster unit. The macro BS changes the interference tolerance in order to meet a QoS(Quality of Service) of femto cell power allocation.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and a device for transceiving control information are provided to transceives MU-MIMO(Multi User-MIMO) control information and SU-MIMO(Single User-MIMO) control information. CONSTITUTION: A first control information generating unit(904) generates first control information for all transmission mode except for a MU-MIMO mode. A second control information generating unit(906) generates second control information for the MU-MIMO mode. A transmission signal processing unit(908) transmits the generated first control information to the terminal through a control channel within a sub frame. The transmission signal processing unit transmits the generated second control information to the terminal through a data channel which is not a control channel within a sub frame.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A random access channel transmission method in a wireless communication system are provided to selectively perform a random channel transmission by considering channel state of reversed direction in a remote node of the wireless communication system. CONSTITUTION: A remote node measures power of a forward signal of a host node if a forward signal is received(301,303). The remote node checks a reference value for determining transmission of a random access channel(305). The remote node compares the power of the measured forward signal and the checked reference value(307). If the power of a forward signal is bigger than the reference value, the remote node transmits a signal through a reverse RACH(Random Access Channel)(309).

A cell searching method in a communication system and a device are provided to transmit a cell number safely through the second synchronous channel after obtaining frame synchronization by the first synchronous channel by using an error correction code or repeatedly sending cell information, thereby variably controlling a time taken through the second synchronous channel according to channel situations. Slot timing and frame timing are detected by using the first synchronous channel. An ID of a cell to which a terminal belongs or a group ID of the cell is detected by using the second synchronous channel. The slot timing is detected from a synchronous code which constitutes the first synchronous channel. One code sequence is estimated among N code sequences according to the number of synchronous slots of the first predetermined synchronous channel, and the frame timing is detected from the estimated code.

A short PN code generating device in a mobile communication network having a Nx CDMA communication system performing spreading at an Nx chip rate using a short PN code of chip length Nx2k and a 1x CDMA communication system performing spreading at a 1x chip rate using a short PN code of chip length 2k. The device generates a short PN code such that the Nx CDMA communication system can distinguish at least the same number of base stations as the 1x CDMA communication system can distinguish. The device includes a sequence generator for generating an m-sequence having a chip length longer than the chip length Nx2k to output an I-component short PN code; and a short PN code generator for switching the generated m-sequence at predetermined chip periods to alternately output the m-sequence as an I-component short PN code and a Q-component short PN code.

PURPOSE: Diversity assembly apparatus and method for public channel of communication system are provided to overcome the weakness of the previous diversity assembly apparatus that bring about collision problem because two signals interfered with each other signal. CONSTITUTION: The diversity assembly apparatus and method for public channel of communication system comprise: base station that send message 1, moving station that receives the message 1 form the base station and that select the channel for sending message 2 during idle time by channel recognizer signal at every time, controller that generate certain extension signal used between promised moving stations and that uses long code, antenna that receive positive directional linked RF signal, repetition spreader, orthogonal spreader that make reverse packet access channel message and that do channel coding and repetition, base station controller that set up channel that is used for accessing to the certain moving station, searcher that has many fingers demodulating signals receive from many sector antennas.
