Abstract: An apparatus for selecting a repeater according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a sensing unit for sensing whether each repeater successfully decodes a signal received from a transmitter; a determining unit for selecting the repeater based on the value of the cumulative distribution function of a signal-to ratio (SNR) for each repeater which successfully decoded the received signal; and a repeater controller for controlling the selected repeater to be able to send the signal to a receiver.
