Abstract: PURPOSE: A NCQ control method and a computing device are provided to prevent a collision with duplicated scheduling by offering an interface capable of controlling NCQ to OS. CONSTITUTION: An OS(Operating System)(101) offers a data reading or writing request and directs scheduling about the request. A HDD(Hard Disk Drive)(201) schedules and processes the request by the scheduling. The OS extracts a scheduling algorithm set on the HDD, changes the scheduling algorithm, offers the changed scheduling algorithm to the HDD, and schedules the request with the changed scheduling algorithm.
