Abstract: PURPOSE: A mapping table management method of an SSD(Solid State Disk) device is provided to promote the efficiency of mapping table management by varying the capacity of a mapping table on a RAM. CONSTITUTION: A mapping table including physical address information of a flash memory is loaded on a RAM(S1010). A logical address which requests mapping hit ratio is calculated(S1020). The capacity of a mapping table on the RAM is varied based on the mapping hit ratio(S1040). The capacity of the mapping table on the RAM is increased.
