Abstract: 본 발명은 인터커넥터 및 광 전송 방법에 관한 것이다.
인터커넥터는 외부로부터 빛을 수신하고, 빛을 표면 플라즈몬에 의해 형성되는 제1 에너지로 형성하고, 제1 에너지를 특정 방향으로 방출되는 빔으로 생성한다. 그러면 인터커넥터는 빔을 표면 플라즈몬에 의해 제2 에너지로 형성하고, 제2 에너지를 외부로부터 수신한 빛과 동일한 파장의 빛으로 변환하여 전송한다. 인터커넥터에서 형성된 제1 에너지 및 제2 에너지는 외부로부터 수신한 빛의 파장보다 낮은 파장을 가진다.
이로써 인터커넥터는 정확하게 빛을 전송할 수 있으며, 빛을 이용한 집적회로를 구현할 수 있다.

Abstract: A device for connecting a light is provided to increase the propagation distance of the surface plasmon wave by converting surface plasmon wave into the plane wave and transmitting it through a free space. In a device for connecting a light, a transmission unit(110) converts a first face wave into a first plane wave corresponding to the first surface wave, and the transformed first plane wave is transmitted. A dielectric(130) delivers the first plane wave, and a receiver(150) receives the second plane wave corresponding to the first plane wave through the dielectric. The receiver converts the second plane wave into the second surface wave corresponding to the second plane wave.

Abstract: 광 연결 소자는 제1 표면파를 제1 표면파에 대응하는 제1 평면파로 변환하여 제1 평면파를 전송하는 송신부, 제1 평면파를 전달하는 유전체 및 유전체를 통해 제1 평면파에 대응하는 제2 평면파를 수신하여 제2 평면파를 제2 평면파에 대응하는 제2 표면파로 변환하는 수신부를 포함한다. 이와 같은 광 연결 소자를 통해 표면 플라즈몬 파의 전파 거리를 늘릴 수 있고, 표면 플라즈몬 파의 전송 효율을 높일 수 있다.

Abstract: An interconnector and a method of optical transmission are provided to transmit a light between waveguides accurately by using a surface plasmon polariton. In an interconnector and a method of optical transmission, an input terminal(110) receives a light from the outside, and the light is formed as a first energy with the surface plasmon. A transmitting terminal(120) receives the first energy, and the beam emitted to a particular direction is produced. The receiving terminal(210) receives the beam and the second energy by using surface plasmon. An output terminal(220) receives the second energy, and it converts it into the light of the same wave length as the light received from outside.
