Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for fixing head by using thermo plastic in stereotactic and three-dimensional radiotherapy are provided to fix easily a patient's head by using a thermoplastic member and a thermoplastic fixing member. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic member(110) corresponding to a patient's frontal region is provided to fix the patient's head. One side of the thermoplastic member is connected to a thermoplastic fixing member by using a hinge. The thermoplastic member is contact with the patient's frontal region by rotating the thermoplastic member coupled to the thermoplastic fixing member. The other side of the thermoplastic member is fixed to the thermoplastic fixing member.

Abstract: 정위 및 3차원 방사선치료에서 환자의 두부를 안정적으로 고정하기 위한 두부 고정방법 및 고정장치가 개시된다. 환자의 전두부에 대응하게 형성된 열플라스틱을 열플라스틱을 제공하고, 열플라스틱을 열플라스틱 고정부재에 연결한 후, 힌지를 이용하여 열플라스틱을 환자의 전두부로 이동시키고, 최종적으로 열플라스틱을 열플라스틱 고정부재에 고정함으로써 환자의 두부를 고정한다. 또한, 열플라스틱 고정부재는 환자에 인접하게 위치하여, 상단 중앙부에 열플라스틱가 힌지를 이용하여 연결된다. 열플라스틱은 열플라스틱 고정부재를 피벗으로 하며 환자의 전두부로 이동되기 때문에 매 치료 시 환자의 두부를 용이하게 정위시킬 수 있으며, 치료 시 두부 고정시간의 단축 및 고정위치의 재현성이 향상된다.
