Abstract: A fat measuring apparatus for a bathroom and a method for controlling fat using the same are provided to measure fat of a user automatically when the user is seated on a stool or a bidet. A fat measuring apparatus for a bathroom includes a stool seat(100), an impedance measuring unit, a function operation unit(300), and a controller. The stool seat is installed at a toilet stool or a bidet, and has electrodes formed at both sides thereof. The impedance measuring unit measures abdomen impedance of a human body using the electrodes, and includes a pair of current application units and a voltage measurement unit. The function operation unit includes an input unit(310), a display unit(320), a storage unit, a printer unit, and a USB port. The controller calculates an abdomen fat ratio of a user through a voltage value measured by the voltage measurement unit.
