Abstract: A dye-sensitized solar cell containing glass powder and its manufacturing method are provided to increase an energy conversion rate of the solar cell by improving a dispersion characteristic of light. An opposite electrode has a conductive transparent layer(20) and a platinum layer(30) which are deposited on a transparent material(10). An optical electrode has a conductive transparent layer and a mixture layer of transition metal oxide and glass powder(50). An electrolyte solution(70) is disposed between the opposite electrode and the optical electrode. The mixture layer of the optical electrode contains 0.01 to 20 wt % of the glass powder. The glass powder is obtained by grinding any one of sodalime glass and quartz glass.
