Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling an ultrasonic motor is provided to reduce starting torque of the ultrasonic motor by decreasing a contact surface between a stator and a rotor. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic motor(110) includes a piezoelectric element, a stator, and a rotor. The phase voltage is applied to the ultrasonic motor. A standing wave is formed in a surface of the stator. A surface of the rotor is contacted with a ridge of the standing wave. The B phase voltage is applied to the ultrasonic motor. The standing wave is transformed to a progressive wave. The progressive wave is rubbed with the surface of the rotor. The rotor rotates with a target angle. The phase difference between the phase voltage and the B phase voltage is 90 degrees.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A multilevel DC/DC converter is provided to minimize a switching loss by switching a zero current. CONSTITUTION: A multilevel DC/DC converter(100) includes a DC input voltage(110), a reactor(120), a plurality of condensers(130,131), and a switch(140). The reactor smooths the current which flows in a multilevel DC/DC converter. The reactor is connected to a DC input voltage and is an air core reactor. A plurality of condensers is serially connected to the reactor. A switch is connected between the reactor and the plurality of condensers and alternatively applies the DC input voltage to the plurality of switches.

Abstract: 본 발명은 초음파 모터의 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 초음파 모터를 기동 또는 정지시키는 두 상의 전압 중 어느 한 상의 전압만을 온/오프하여 회전자를 목표각에 도달하게 제어하는 단상 전압차 온/오프 방식을 이용한 초음파 모터의 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 초음파 모터의 제어방법은 위상차가 90도인 A상 전압 및 B상 전압을 압전체로 인가하여 고정자의 표면에 진행파를 형성하고, 상기 진행파와의 마찰에 의해 회전자를 목표각으로 회전시키는 초음파 모터의 제어 방법에 있어서, 상기 A상 전압을 일정한 전압으로 인가하는 제1단계, 상기 고정자의 표면에 정재파가 형성되고, 상기 회전자의 표면이 상기 정재파의 마루에만 접촉하게 하는 제2단계, 상기 B상 전압의 진폭을 가변하며 인가하는 제3단계, 상기 정재파가 진행파로 변환되는 제4단계 및 상기 진행파가 상기 회전자의 표면과 마찰하여, 상기 회전자가 상기 목표각으로 회전하는 제5단계를 포함하여 이루어진다.
