Abstract: 외부입력 기기 변경에 기인한 방송수신장치 자동 모드 전환방법이 제공된다. 본 방송수신장치 자동 모드 전환 제어방법은, AV 출력장치가, 입력된 사용자 명령이 특정 명령인지 판단하는 단계, 사용자 명령이 특정 명령으로 판단되면 AV 출력장치가 방송수신장치의 동작모드를 제어하기 위한 제어 메세지를 생성하는 단계 및 생성단계에서 생성된 제어 메세지를 방송수신장치로 전송하는 단계를 포함한다. 이에 의해, 미사용 상황 인지 범위가 확대되고, 인지 시간이 단축되어 대기모드 전환속도가 빨라져, 불필요한 전력 소모를 더욱 저감할 수 있게 된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic mode switching method of a broadcasting receiving apparatus is provided to recognize a situation that a user does not use a set-top box and to automatically switch the set-top box in a standby mode. CONSTITUTION: An AV output device(100) determines whether an inputted user command is a specific command. If the user command is the specific command, the AV output device generates a control message for control of an operation mode of an STB(Set Top Box)(200). The AV output device transmits the generated control message to a broadcasting receiving apparatus.
