Abstract: The present invention relates to a cathode active material comprising silicon nanoparticles and a siloxane layer formed on the surface of the silicon nanoparticles, to a method for manufacturing the same, and a secondary battery using the cathode active material. The cathode active material according to the present invention has the siloxane layer on the surface of the silicon nanoparticles, to prevent the capacity drop of the battery to improve the charge and discharge properties and lifetime properties of the battery, moreover, to have an excellent dispersibility to be uniformly dispersed during manufacturing a cathode to improve the workability.

Abstract translation: 本发明涉及包含硅纳米颗粒和形成在硅纳米颗粒表面上的硅氧烷层的阴极活性材料，其制造方法和使用该正极活性物质的二次电池。 根据本发明的阴极活性材料在硅纳米颗粒的表面上具有硅氧烷层，以防止电池的容量下降，从而改善电池的充放电特性和寿命特性，而且具有优异的分散性 在制造阴极期间均匀分散以提高加工性。
