Abstract:
PURPOSE: Provided are a method and an apparatus for treating nitrogen-containing wastewater at low cost with great treatment efficiency by using a sequencing batch biofilm reactor and granular zeolite as microorganism media. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a first anoxic or anaerobic step for denitrifying wastewater and removing ammonium nitrogen contained in the wastewater by ion exchange of zeolite filled in a reactor; an aerobic step for detaching the ammonium nitrogen from the zeolite by exposing the zeolite to nitrifying bacteria under the aerobic condition; and a second anoxic or anaerobic step for removing nitrate generated during the aerobic step. The apparatus includes a reactor(111) filled with zeolite, a raw water inlet pipe(121) connected to the reactor(111) for introducing wastewater to the reactor(111) therethrough, a water level sensor(171) installed at an upper portion of the reactor(111) for controlling flow of the wastewater, a treated water discharging pipe(123) connected to the reactor(111) for discharging clean water which is treated in the reactor(111) therethrough, and an air pump(161) installed at a lower portion of the reactor(111) for supplying air to the zeolite after discharging the treated water, thereby detaching ammonium nitrogen adsorbed to the zeolite by nitrification.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Provided is a method for treating sewage and wastewater using powdered zeolite, which can remove high concentration nitrogen without additional installation of a zeolite ion-exchange or regeneration device and enhance settling property of sludge. CONSTITUTION: The sewage and wastewater treatment method is characterized in that, i) the reaction tank consists of an aerobic tank, an anoxic tank or an anaerobic tank, and a settling tank, in order; and ii) sewage and wastewater are flowed into the anoxic tank or the anaerobic tank, sent to the settling tank with powdered zeolite, and returned to the aerobic tank.

혐기조 또는 무산소조, 호기조 및 침전조의 순서로 구성되는 일련의 생물학적 처리조 내에 분말형 제올라이트를 일정량 투입한 후, 하수 및 폐수의 흐름에 따라, 이들 분말형 제올라이트 및 슬러지가 각각의 반응조를 거치면서, 생물학적 COD 저감, 중금속 흡착, 탈질, 탈인을 수행하게 하고, 계속해서 분말형 제올라이트는 슬러지와 함께 반송되어 각각의 반응조에서 자연적으로 재생되는 경제적인 생물학적 하수 및 폐수 처리 방법으로써, 외부에 추가적인 제올라이트 재생장치의 설치 및 부가적인 생물학적 처리장치의 도입없이 효과적으로 하수 및 폐수를 처리할 수 있는 매우 경제적이며, 효과적인 하수 및 폐수 처리방법이 제공된다.

PURPOSE: Provided is an advanced wastewater treatment system for livestock wastewater which contains the organic matter of high concentration, suspended solids, nitrogen, phosphorus and colors. CONSTITUTION: The advanced wastewater treatment system comprises a pre-treatment tank(2) to remove selectively ammonium and phosphorus in livestock wastewater; an anaerobic reactor(3) for denitrification of the wastewater passed from the former part by oxidative fermentation in the upper denitrification zone; a nitrification reactor(4); a post-treatment tank(6) to remove the residual nitrate of the anaerobic reactor and the nitrification reactor; and a fenton-oxidation reactor(8) to eliminate phosphorus, organic matters and colors in the wastewater treated from the former post-treatment tank and disinfect. The pre-treatment tank comprises a mixing tank and a settling tank, which enhance the denitrification efficiency by maintaining the ratio of organic matters : nitrogen of 6 : 1 by the MAP(magnesium ammonium phosphate) settling method.
