Abstract: The present invention relates to nickel and metal oxide as a catalyst for producing synthetic gas using a reforming reaction of methane, and more specifically, to a metal oxide catalyst using alumina as a supporter and being formed of magnesia, nickel, vanadium, tungsten, iron, molybdenum, and chrome. Using the metal oxide catalyst can control the deposition of carbon, and maintain or improve catalyst activity.
