Abstract: 본 발명은 시각장애인을 위한 길안내 서비스 시스템 및 서비스 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에서는, 시각장애인을 위한 길안내 서비스 시스템에 있어서,
사용자의 현재 시선 방향을 인식하기 위한 수단, 사용자 단말기와 접속하기 위한 수단, 길안내 정보를 출력하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 스테레오 헤드셋과; 상기 스테레오 헤드셋과 접속하기 위한 수단, 사용자의 현재 위치를 추적하기 위한 수단, 사용자의 출발위치에서 목적지까지의 지리정보를 저장하기 위한 수단, 사용자의 출발위치에서 목적지까지의 이동 경로 및 상기 이동 경로에 따른 현재 위치에서의 진행 방향을 산출하기 위한 수단, 길안내 정보를 생성하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 사용자 단말기를 포함하고,
상기 스테레오 헤드셋의 시선방향 정보를 상기 사용자 단말기에 송신하고, 상기 사용자 단말기에서 이를 처리하여 상기 스테레오 헤드셋에 길안내 정보를 전송하는 시각장애인을 위한 길안내 시스템이 제시된다.

Abstract: Navigation service system and method for blind persons are provided to guide a blind person to a destination by using cubic sound as well as a voice, and notifying obstacles on the movement path by using an obstacle recognizing sensor. A navigation service system for blind persons includes a stereo headset(102) and a user terminal(100). The stereo headset includes a unit for recognizing a current sight direction of a blind person, a unit for connecting to the user terminal and a unit for outputting the navigation information. The stereo headset transmits the information about the current sight direction of a blind person to the user terminal. The user terminal compares an advancing direction on a movement path and the sight direction on a user's current position, and produces and transmits the navigation information to the stereo headset, which output the navigation information.
