Abstract: 본 발명은 센서 네트워크에서 이동 노드의 이동성을 지원하기 위한 센서 노드 장치에 있어서, 싱크노드, 이웃 센서 노드 및 상기 이동 노드와의 통신을 위한 네트워크 인터페이스부, 상기 이동 노드의 위치를 판단하고, 상기 판단된 위치를 토대로 상기 네트워크 인터페이스부를 통해 수신된 데이터 패킷의 서비스를 위한 센서 노드를 결정하는 이동 감시부, 상기 네트워크 인터페이스부를 통해 수신된 데이터 패킷에 대하여 상기 이동 노드의 위치에 따라 전송 방식을 결정하는 전송 방식 결정부, 상기 센서 노드 장치를 통한 데이터 패킷 전송 상황을 보고하는 상태 보고부로 구성된 것으로서, 이동 노드가 센서 노드들의 전파 영역이 겹치는 지점으로 이동하게 되면, 센서 노드들 각각의 전파 세기를 판단하여 전파 세기가 센 영역의 센서 노드로 핸드오프를 하게 하여, 너무 잦은 핸드오프로 인해 발생하는 핑퐁 문제나, 너무 느린 핸드오프로 인한 지연 문제를 방지할 수 있다.

Abstract: A sensor node apparatus and method for supporting mobility of a mobile node in a sensor network are provided to seamlessly transfer packets to a node that moves within a sensor network. A network interface(200) enables communication with a sync node, a neighbor sensor node and a mobile node. A movement monitoring unit(240) determines location of the mobile node, and determines a sensor node for providing a service of data packets received through the network interface unit(200) based on the determined location of the mobile node. A transmission method determining unit(230) determines a transmission method for the data packets, received through the network interface unit(200), according to the location of the mobile node. A state report unit(260) reports a data packet transmission situation through a sensor node apparatus.
