    Abstract: A bridge device for networks which offer different QoS(Quality of Service) functions is provided to obtain connection information through a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) QoS structure when connecting networks, and to control/manage QoS of internal resources based on the obtained information, thereby solving heterogeneous problems between the networks. A UPnP QoS processor(310) collects QoS requirement information and connection information of application services connected through networks by using a UPnP QoS structure. A bridge function unit(320) performs connection setup and releasing by allocating resources based on the collected information, and conducts a bridging function according to connection information of a received frame. More than two network device drivers(330,340) receive data from the networks to provide the data to the bridge function unit, or transmit data delivered from the bridge function unit to the corresponding networks.
