Abstract: PURPOSE: A high performance beam formation transmission and reception method based on a successive orthogonal diffusion code is provided to maintain an optimal beam formation performance by using a simple beam formation method. CONSTITUTION: A diffusion unit(100) diffuses a signal by using a successive orthogonal diffusion code. A pre-rake synthesizer(110) acquires channel information in a transmission and reception process. The pre-rake synthesizer receives pre-rake effects. A weighted value vector generating apparatus(350, 400) generates a weighted value vector. A beam forming block(120) applies the weighted value to the signal.
