Abstract: PURPOSE: A flag and a flag raising apparatus are provided to attach light materials to both ends of a flag and to install a guiding device for guiding the both ends of the flag, thereby easily inserting or discharging the flag into or from a flag raising apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A flag raising apparatus(100) comprises a body(A11) which includes an inlet and an outlet which penetrate from the top to the bottom; a case(A1) which forms the outer appearance of the flag raising apparatus; left and right supports(A9) which are respectively installed at the left and the right of the body and include left and right driving motors and front and back guiding devices; left and right flag moving units(32) which are inserted into the shafts of the left and the right driving motors and rotating in the forward or backward direction for loading or unloading a flag; the left and right driving motors to rotate the left and right moving units in the forward or backward direction; the guiding device which is installed at the support and guides both incoming ends of a flag, when the flag is loaded, to the left and right moving units; the front guiding device which is installed at the support and guides both ends of a flag within the case to the left and right guiding devices when the flag is unloaded; a control unit(200) which is a processor for controlling operations of the left and right moving units; and a power supply unit which supplies power to the driving motors and the control unit.
