Abstract: An apparatus for measuring the intensity of an interfering electromagnetic wave, specifically for measuring the average value of impulsive noises in a short time accurately. In the apparatus, impulsive noises, inputted through a variable attenuator (12), a frequency converter (13), an intermediate-frequency amplifier (15), a band-pass filter (16) of 9 KHz or 120 KHz are inputted into a linear detector (17). The detected outputs are passed through a low-pass CR filter (31) whose cut-off frequency is tens of thousands of hertz to lower their peak values and to widen their width. The output of the filter is converted into digital signal by an A/D converter (33), and digital values at respective sampling points in one frame of the digital signals are summed by a computing circuit (34). Then, the summation value thereof is divided by the number of samples to obtain the average value and the result is displayed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a TEM cell which generates inside a uniform TEM mode electromagnetic wave being simular to the one of a distant field. CONSTITUTION:A cell 1 constituting an external electrode is provided, and an internal electrode plate which is supported at the upper and lower end parts by support members 7 and 7' provided in the vertical direction and stands upright in the vertical direction is provided inside the cell. The internal electrode plate 5 is provided in displacement from the central position of the cell in regard to the direction being orthogonal to the surface of the plate, and the cell 1 constituting the external electrode has doors 4 on the opposite sides of the internal electrode plate 5. In this way, a TEM cell showing little deflection, in particular, is constructed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately calculate the mean value of extremely fine impulsive noise at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus for measuring and displaying the mean value of impulsive noise, a low-pass filter 10 is connected next to a linear detector 5 to make the difference between a pulse peak value and a mean value extremely small. An analogue/digital converter 11 is connected next to the low-pass filter 10 and digitalized low-pass filter output is subjected to high speed operational processing by the operation circuit 12 further connected next to the converter to calculate a mean value.
