Abstract:
An electronic device, with a touch-sensitive surface, displays a respective control, which is associated with respective contact intensity criteria, used to determine whether or not a function associated with the respective control will be performed. The device detects a gesture on the touch-sensitive surface, corresponding to an interaction with the respective control. In accordance with a determination that the gesture does not include a contact that meets the respective contact intensity criteria, the device changes the appearance of the respective control to indicate progress toward meeting the respective contact intensity criteria that is used to determine whether or not a function associated with the respective control will be performed. In response to detecting activation of the control, the device performs the function associated with the respective control in accordance with the detected gesture including a contact that meets the respective contact intensity criteria.
Abstract:
An audio system is described that includes one or more speaker arrays that emit sound corresponding to one or more pieces of sound program content into associated zones within a listening area. Using parameters of the audio system (e.g., locations of the speaker arrays and the audio sources), the zones, the users, the pieces of sound program content, and the listening area, one or more beam pattern attributes may be generated. The beam pattern attributes define a set of beams that are used to generate audio beams for channels of sound program content to be played in each zone. The beam pattern attributes may be updated as changes are detected within the listening environment. By adapting to these changing conditions, the audio system is capable of reproducing sound that accurately represents each piece of sound program content in various zones.
Abstract:
An electronic device receives an incoming communication and determines that the device is in a first use context. In response to receiving the incoming communication, the device provides first feedback that includes a first ongoing audio output that corresponds to the first use context and a first ongoing tactile output with a first tactile output profile that corresponds to the first use context. While providing the first ongoing audio output and the first ongoing tactile output, the device detects that the electronic device is in a second use context, different from the first use context. In response to detecting that the electronic device is in the second use context, the device provides second feedback that includes a second ongoing tactile output that has a second tactile output profile that corresponds to the second use context.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a display, touch-sensitive surface and one or more sensors to detect intensity of contacts with the touch-sensitive surface displays a first user interface object and detects first movement of the contact that corresponds to movement of a focus selector toward the first user interface object. In response to detecting the first movement, the device moves the focus selector to the first user interface object; and determines an intensity of the contact. After detecting the first movement, the device detects second movement of the contact. In response to detecting the second movement of the contact, when the contact meets selection criteria based on an intensity of the contact, the device moves the focus selector and the first user interface object; and when the contact does not meet the selection criteria, the device moves the focus selector without moving the first user interface object.
Abstract:
A device displays a camera user interface including a live view from a camera. While displaying the live view from the camera: the device records media images that are captured by the camera, while continuing to display the live view from the camera; and the device further displays representations of a plurality of media images that were recorded while displaying the live view from the camera as frames scrolling across the display in a first direction.
Abstract:
An electronic device provides data to present a user interface with a plurality of user interface objects, including a control user interface object at a first location. The control user interface object is configured to control a parameter. The device receives an input that corresponds to an interaction with the control user interface object. While receiving the input that corresponds to the interaction with the control user interface object, the device provides data to move the control user interface object, in accordance with the input, from the first location to a second location. The device also provides first sound information to provide a sound output with characteristics that are different from the parameter controlled by the control user interface object and that change with movement of the control user interface object from the first location to the second location.
Abstract:
A device displays, in a first display region of a camera user interface, a first live view from a first camera. While displaying the first live view from the first camera, the device detects movement of a first user input (e.g., a first contact on a touch-sensitive surface). In accordance with a determination that the movement of the first user input meets first movement criteria, the device moves the first live view in the first display region in accordance with the movement of the first user input, displays a second live view from a second camera, and moves the second live view in the first display region in accordance with the movement of the first user input.
Abstract:
A device displays a camera user interface for recording media images in a plurality of media recording modes. While displaying the camera user interface, the device captures media with one or more cameras. In response to capturing the media, in accordance with a determination that the captured media is consistent with a first media recording mode, the device displays a first prompt in the camera user interface that prompts a user to take one or more actions associated with the first media recording mode; and in accordance with a determination that the captured media is consistent with a second media recording mode, the device displays a second prompt in the camera user interface that prompts the user to take one or more actions associated with the second media recording mode, where the first media recording mode is different from the second media recording mode.
Abstract:
An electronic device with one or more processors and memory, and in communication with a display and an audio system presents, under control of the electronic device, via the audio system, a first audio output, the first audio output having a volume and an audio property other than volume (e.g., a reverberation time, a low-pass filter cutoff, or a stereo balance). While the audio system presents a first audio output, the device receives an input that corresponds to a request to present a second audio output, and in response, the device concurrently presents, via the audio system, an adjusted version of the first audio output in which the audio property other than volume of the first audio output has been adjusted and the second audio output.
