    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for controlling phytopathogenic harmful fungi consisting of pseudo microorganism strain and chemical compound inhibiting growth of Botrytis cinerea and/or Alternaria brassicicola.SOLUTION: There are provided a fungicidal composition comprising 1) a fungicidal strain (I) selected from a) the Bacillus subtilis strain with NRRL Accession No. of B-21661 and b) the Bacillus pumilus strain with NRRL Accession No. B-30087, or a mutant of these strains having all the identifying characteristics of the respective strain, or a metabolite produced by the respective strain that exhibits activity against plant pathogenic fungi, and 2) at least one kind of chemical compound (II) selected from active compounds A) to F): A) an azole-based active compound, B) a strobilurin-based compound, C) a carboxamide-based compound, D) a heterocyclic-based active compound, E) a carbamate-based active compound, and F) other antimicrobial agents in a synergistically effective amount, and seeds containing the composition.
