The invention relates to a method for producing nanoscale metal oxide-filled polymers. Said method is characterized by the following steps: a) producing a nanosuspension of one or more crystalline metal oxides, metal hydroxides or metal oxide hydroxides by heating a suspension of one or more compounds containing the corresponding metals in a first polymerizable compound to a temperature higher than the boiling point of water at process temperature and lower than the boiling temperature of the first polymerizable compound and also lower than the temperature at which polymerization of the first polymerizable compound begins, in the presence of water in an amount corresponding to 1 to 10 oxygen atoms per metal atom of the compound or of the compounds containing the corresponding metals, and b) polymerization of the first polymerizable compound under the conditions of temperature and pressure conventional for the first polymerizable compound.

The invention relates to a method for producing dyed textiles comprising polypropylene fibres, according to which polypropylene (A) is first mixed into the melt together with polymers (B) that can be thermoplastically processed and block copolymers (C), the latter having polar and non-polar blocks, and the mixture is then processed to form undyed polypropylene fibres. Said fibres are processed to form textiles and the textiles are then dyed in an aqueous bath or printed. The invention also relates to undyed polypropylene fibres that are particularly suitable for carrying out said method.

The invention relates to zinc salts of C4-8-alkane dicarboxylic acids, which can be obtained by reacting C4-8-alkane dicarboxylic acids with surface-modified zinc oxide particles, wherein the surface-modified zinc oxide particles can be obtained by treating zinc oxide particles with organosilanes, silazanes and/or polysiloxanes and subsequently heat treating and/or UV irradiating the treated zinc oxide particles, and to the use thereof as polymerization catalysts for producing polyalkylene carbonates.

The invention relates to a nanocomposite which comprises a polyamide component (A) and a nanoparticulate component (B), wherein nanoparticulate component (B): a) is based on at least one oxide or mixed oxide/ oxide hydrate of one or more metals or half metals M, b) has a mean particle diameter of up to 10 nm, and c) is obtainable in a process comprising sol-gel synthesis that is carried out in the presence of an acid. The invention also relates to methods of making polyamide nanocomposites and to the use of nanoparticulate components to increase the flow of polyamide containing melts. The invention furthermore relates to molded parts made of the nanocomposite and to the use of a nanocomposite to produce thin-walled molded parts.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Terpolymeren aufgebaut aus Kohlendioxid, Propylenoxid und mindestens einem weiteren Epoxid durch Umsetzung von Kohlendioxid, Propylenoxid und dem mindestens einen weiteren Epoxid in Anwesenheit mindestens eines Porphyrin-Katalysators sowie mindestens eines speziellen Co-Katalysators, sowie Terpolymere, hergestellt nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren und die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Terpolymere zur Herstellung von Lebensmittelverpackungen.

Sheet-like moldings or foils with anisotropic coefficients of thermal expansion are produced from extrudable thermoplastic polymer molding compositions by filling the thermoplastic polymer molding compositions with lamellar phyllosilicates whose diameter is in the range from 10 to 1000 nm and whose aspect ratio is in the range from 1:5 to 1:10 000 and extruding the filled thermoplastic polymer molding compositions, and then monoaxially or biaxially orienting the extrudate to give sheet-like moldings or foils.

Método para producir cuerpos moldeados planos con coeficientes de expansión térmica anisotrópicos a partir de composiciones poliméricas moldeables termoplásticas mediante carga de las composiciones poliméricas moldeables termoplásticas con filosilicatos laminares que tienen un diámetro en el rango de 10 a 1000 nm y una proporción de aspecto en el rango de 1 a 5 hasta 1 a 10000, extrusión de las composiciones poliméricas moldeables termoplásticas cargadas y subsiguiente dilatación uniaxial o biaxial del material extrudido para producir cuerpos moldeados planos o láminas, en cuyo caso los cuerpos moldeados extrudidos o dilatados, o las láminas se apilan una sobre otra para incrementar el grosor de capa, se comprimen o se laminan, y la preparación de cuerpos moldeados se efectúa a continuación por el método de extrusión o por termoconformado.

La fabricación de miembros moldeados planos de películas que han tienen coeficientes de expansión térmica anisotrópicos hace a partir de materiales de moldeo de polímeros termoplásticos extruibles mediante el llenado de los materiales de moldeo de polímero termoplástico con silicatos capas laminares que tienen un diámetro en el rango de 10 a 1000 nm y una relación de aspecto desde 1 a 5 hasta 1 a 10000, extruyendo los materiales de moldeo de polímero termoplástico rellenados y subsiguientemente estirando uniaxial o biaxialmente el extruido en miembros o películas moldeadas planas.
