Le dispositif comporte au moins une conduite tubulaire flexible s'étendant en chaînette entre un support de surface et un organe intermédiaire communiquant à la conduite sur une partie de sa longueur une configuration courbe de concavité tournée vers le fond, une partie de la conduite entre l'organe intermédiaire et le fond sous-marin étant tendue en étant fixée à un point fixe sur le fond, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un dispositif de retenue d'au moins une zone de la partie inférieure de la conduite, reliés au point fixe, constitué de préférence par un corps mort et agencés pour maintenir en tension la partie de la conduite située entre l'organe intermédiaire et le dispositif de retenue, et pour communiquer à la conduite dans un plan vertical une courbure imposée prédéterminée dont la concavité est dirigée vers la structure, notamment une tête de puits, située sur le fond sous-marin et a partir de laquelle le pétrole doit être remonté.
