Abstract:
Disclosed is a device to device (D2D) communication method. The D2D communication method includes generating a connection identification (CID) for D2D communication using an identification (ID) of a specific terminal, selecting a sequence corresponding to the CID, and transmitting the selected sequence using a paging request resource including a plurality of subcarriers. Accordingly, even in a channel selective wireless environment, a performance of a wireless link may be improved, and usage efficiency of wireless resources may be improved.
Abstract:
Provided is a radio resource management method for device-to-device communication. The resource management method for device-to-device communication includes dividing a plurality of connection identifiers (CIDs) into N (N is a natural number) number of groups, dividing the resources for device-to-device communication into N number of sub-bands corresponding to the N number of groups, and allocating resources by mapping CIDs respectively belonging to the N number of groups to resources of sub-bands respectively corresponding to the groups. Therefore, according to the resource management method, by dividing the whole frequency band into a plurality of sub-bands, a communication range may be extended, a low-power device may be accommodated, granularity of resources may be improved, and flexibility of resource management may be obtained.
Abstract:
A method for discovery using a device-to-device link is disclosed. A method of operating a device includes receiving a request to transmit discovery information, and transmitting or not transmitting the discovery information based on the request. Using the method of operating a device, power consumption of devices and waste of radio resources in a discovery process of direct communication between devices can be reduced, and a problem of resource collision between adjacent devices can be resolved. Further, a problem of adjacent devices assigned to specific frequency resources having a bad channel property not being discovered can be resolved by coping with frequency selectivity.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a positioning method and an apparatus for performing the same. The positioning method includes performing positioning with respect to a node to be positioned based on signals transmitted from a plurality of transmission nodes, generating reliability information for each channel link between the plurality of transmission nodes and the node to be positioned, and again performing positioning with respect to the node to be positioned based on position information of the node to be positioned that is acquired by performing positioning and the reliability information when a predetermined positioning completion condition is not satisfied. Therefore, it is possible to improve positioning accuracy.
